Donate a Car. Help Train the Next Generation of Sisters.
The Sisters of the Valley have spent more than a decade developing a way of life built around service, plant medicine, spiritual practice, earth stewardship, and economic independence for women. Until now, much of the training required to become a Sister has happened organically—one woman teaching another, working side by side, passing along the practices, disciplines and traditions of the order.
The Sisters of the Valley Ministry is working to formalize that process. Funds raised through our vehicle donation program will support the development of a structured training program for women who wish to follow the path toward becoming a Sister. That means documenting our teachings and practices, developing training materials, creating an organized curriculum, and building a program that can eventually be used by Sisters and chapters beyond our California home.
When you donate a vehicle, you are helping us turn more than a decade of lived experience into something that can be taught, preserved and passed forward.
Please note that at this time our vehicle donation program is available to California residents.
Your Car Doesn’t Have to Run
If you have an old vehicle sitting around that you can’t afford—or simply don’t want—to make roadworthy again, that’s okay. The vehicle does not have to be running. Our vehicle donation program is operated in collaboration with Brownfield Auto Auction, a California company experienced in processing vehicles for charitable organizations. In fact, Brownfield reports that more than 95% of the vehicles it auctions come from charitable donations.
Brownfield handles the practical side of the donation for us. They arrange to collect the vehicle, evaluate it and prepare it for auction. After the vehicle is sold, Brownfield retains the agreed-upon fees for its services and the remaining proceeds go to the Sisters of the Valley Ministry. The donor receives the appropriate charitable donation receipt and sale documentation.

How It Works
Complete our vehicle donation application [LINK]. Once the application is submitted, someone from Brownfield will contact you, generally within 24 hours, to verify the information about your vehicle and arrange a convenient time for pickup. If the vehicle isn’t running, that’s not a problem—they will arrange to have it towed.
Brownfield takes it from there, handling the vehicle through the auction process and the associated paperwork. You donate the vehicle; they handle the logistics; and the proceeds help us build the training program for the next generation of Sisters. Use the button below to access the vehicle registration page to begin the process.
